man isn't Pharaoh unreasonable? It just struck me for some reason what a tyrant he was, not unlike the tyrants in concentration camps. However, all for a purpose as we will read in the next chapter...all for God's glory to be revealed, so that no one will be able to say that it was coincidence, or anthing other than the hand of God.

yeah. I was struck by the ending part where Moses is crying out; "Why, God??" "Lord, why have you brought this trouble on your people? Is this why you sent me here? I went to the king and said what you told me to say, but every since that time he has made the people suffer. And you have done nothing to save them."

Wow. I talked to the kids (I read it to them over breakfast) about how human it is to cry out to God as Moses did here and as Job did. But we can see because we have the whole Bible how much bigger than our (their) understanding God's plan was. It really puts things in perspective to see Moses crying out like this mere chapters before the Exodus. Stunning.
