Psalm 2

I love, love LOVE this Psalm. How many times do we stupidly go about building our own kingdoms (figuratively speaking) only to realize that we are missing the mark. There is no greater calling than to be part of His kingdom, called to belong, called to pursue it, called to build it. I love "Obey the Lord with great fear. Be happy, but tremble. Show that you are loyal to His son, or you will be destroyed by His anger, because He can quickly become angry. But happy are those who trust Him for protection."

That gives me goosebumps.

I am reading the ESVersion and I think the same verse hit home for me too but it is said differently... same chill like feeling though:)

'Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.'

My man was struggling with fear this week, my eldest daughter too, I just kept saying 'Why fear this stuff when we are asked only to fear our Lord? And he LOVES us.' I am not saying I am free from fear, as a woman and mom I often struggle between wisdome and worked up... It was just so much harder in some ways to watch two I loved so stuck by fear this week...

I for sure wanna put my self in his hands alone!

LOVE THE NEW FORMAT IDEA! Much easier and nicer:)

Unfortunately, I read this passage with "SuperWhy" in the background. I think I missed some stuff...will go back to it this afternoon...
