"We do not need to write you about having love for your Christian family, because God has already taught you to love each other... now we encourage you to love them even more." v10

Love this. I am on a love mission. To love people passionately, right where they're at, for who they are, whoever they are. Just love 'em. It's not near as hard as I thought it might be. I've learned that it's impossible to pray for someone and continue to dislike them =)

"Do all you can to live a peaceful life. Take care of your own business and do your own work... if you do, then people who are not believers will respect you..." v11

Another life verse of mine. The pursuit of peace and the pursuit of dilligence in taking care of my own business (ie. my home and family). I don't even care so much about getting respect from other people, I just want to hear "well done my good and faithful servant" when I'm called to the stand. But a little human respece never hurt noone either =)

AFter that, we who are still alive will be gathered up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And we will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words." v17

Those verses about Jesus coming back have to be the most thrilling to me in the whole Bible. I never realized how many influential verses (to me) are found in this one chapter. Major favourite!
