Exodus 33

I find it very interesting that God said; "so take off all your jewelry and I will decide what to do with you." Like He is saying, strip yourselves of the the trappings that you build yourself up with. Humble yourselves. Make yourselves naked and vulnerable. Get real with me and THEN I will deal with you.

I also find the part about everyone watching Moses commune wiht God interesting. God would have communed with any of them that way if they would have had a heart for Him. Face to face as with a friend. This is the kind of relationship I long for and it is so rewarding when the veil comes down and there He is. It's only my own numbness and distractedness that keeps me from the radiance of His glory. How sad and how telling of what a blinded existence we so often lead.

"Then the Lord said to Moses, "I will do what you ask, because I know you very well, and I am pleased with you." v17 Awesome.
