Leviticus 21

What a worship inducing, humbling passage. God is holy. We are unholy in so many ways, and yet again, He is the Lord who makes us holy. Act like it. My devotional notes say;

"To arrive at holiness we must trust in Jesus Christ, who has become our great sacrifice. Trusting meanst that every area of our lives must be placed in subjection to His lordship, every decision made with Him taken into account, and every word honoring to Him."

Wow. That got my attention. Trust isn't just an abstract inner decision. It results in action. Subjection. Obedience. Desire to live holy lives that glorify the one who has redeemed and desires to sanctify us.
