I always find the little insights we are given to endtime prophecy early on in the OT to be fascinating. Job is one of the oldest dated writings that we have from the OT and here he is recounting things he has been told about God's eternal purposes and plans for man after death. I just love that.

Yes. Yes!! This passage got me really excited too. (after I finished thinking that vs.1 was a good reply to the nagging wife verses in Proverbs) :)

Even the tree word pictures are SO descriptive. I love love love vs 14-17 too, I won't requote them. I think of the 'silent' years... 700 of them is a long time to keep hoping for the Messiah.
