"People cry out when they are in trouble;... but no one asks"Where is God, my Maker, who gives us songs in the night...?" v9-10

This is so true. Impulsively, when we are hurting and experiencing loss we cry out to God, wondering where He is, wondering why He seems distant, and yet the picture ties in so well with thoughts from yesterday and the last S o S reading. We reject the call of our lover who desires to enter in and walk with us intimately and then panic and wonder why He has distanced Himself from us.

So glad we know that God is still concerned about our convictions even though he doesn't intervene immediately in every situation. LAB.

"But it is wrong to say God doesn't listen,to say the Almighty isn't concerned."v 13

God will always listen and will be concerned about us,we are never alone God will always watch over us.

"Sometimes we wonder if being faithful to our convictions really does any good at all. Elihu spoke to this very point. His conclusion was that God is still concerned even though he doesn't intervene immediately in every situation. In the broad scope of time, God executes justice. We have his promise on that. Don't lose hope. Wait upon God. He notices your right living and your faith."
