How wonderful to have the freedom and wisdom to take joy and encouragement in the strength of the Lord. To rest in that strength, to step out in that strength, to persevere in that strength!
Amen!

I have comments, but not on this passage (lol) I was reading it, but I kept being drawn back up to last week's chapter which is right above this week's (in my Bible).
This has to be my favorite verse(s) in Psalms:

"Some trust in chariots,
and some in horses;
But WE will remember the name
of the Lord our God.
They have bowed down and fallen;
But we have risen and stand upright."

THEY, trust in man and in human strength, but WE don't. WE trust in God.

"You always give him blessings; You made him glad because You were with him. The king truly trusts the Lord. Because God Most High always loves him, he will not be overwhelmed." vv6-7

How lovely it is to be glad merely (mot merely, but you kwim... for no other reason other than) because GOD is with us. Because GOD loves us. Because HE is our hope and strength and salvation.
