Psalm 22

Apart from the crucifixion scenes of the gospels, this chapter has to be one of the major climaxes of scripture. The Exalted debased, that He might exalt the truly debased. My heart literally skips a beat everytime I get to verses 17 and 18. My God. Debased to the as low as low can go. That was the cost of redemption.

I love; "People everywhere wil remember and will turn to the Lord. All the families of the nations will worship Him becauset he Lord is King and He rules the nations. All the powerful people on earth will eat and worship. Everyone will bow down to Him, all who will one day die. The people in the future will serve Him...." vv 27-30

Let it be.

you know, I don't think I have ever realized that this passage was about the Messiah, even though it says it right there "the suffering, praise, and posterity of the Messiah" in my title. huh. Very interesting.
