Exodus 15

Hmmmm..... I love it. Totally ministered to by this passage tonight. Bitter water... thirst... weary travellers... and it ends off with, "Then the people travelled to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees. So the people camped there near the water."

I've been a weary traveller, frustrated with bitter water... thirsty for cool, refreshing, deep springs. Tonight I feel like I camped at Elim. I watched the floodgates open, drank deeply and was refreshed alongside a large group of women who shared openly of their own thirst and weariness. Just looking the women at my table in the eye and sharing the drudgery of it all... this spiritual journey in which I feel noone could care less about my struggles and frustrations, hearing them speak of their own personal struggles and discouragement, being real, confessing that we are NOT living out the great commission within our own body... expressing the desire to reach out, to draw in, to minister to and be ministered to... it was Elim. A camp with many springs... all refreshing. all healing. all encouraging. Sooooooooooo encouraging.
