"They will receive a blessing from the Lord; the God who saves them will declare them right." v5

couldn't help but parallel the concept of imputed righteousness,with emancipation. Abraham Lincoln signed a lawfully binding declaration that released the American Negro from the previous law that declared him someone else's property. Slaves no more, they had "rights" for the first time in their lives. So it is with us. Freed from the slavery of sin, we are declared right(eous) before God. Not because of something we've done, but because of what He did.
