this is bizarre. like a scene from Lord of the Rings.

What I got out of this is to "stay my course" and not let myself be led astray by those claiming to speak a message from the Lord... but to make sure *I* am listening to the Lord's message TO ME. And following it.

I have always found the part where the prophet specifically names Josiah to be moving. I can't imagine what it felt like for him to read it many years later! It more then likely aided in his change of heart and direction.

The last part about the prophets end has always given me a sinking feeling and I chewed on it since this morning with nothing clear... My Dad often spoke about this part as a bleak warning about stepping out of God's plan... I don't know... the deception from the other prophet seems so nasty... I honestly don't know how to work it all out in my head.
