Leviticus 27

was kind of confused by verse 31 after the tithing reference. "ONe tenth of all crops belongs to the Lord, includingthe crops from fields and the the fruit from the trees. That one-tenth is holy to the Lord. If a person wants to get back that tenth, one fifth must be added to the price."

So what is this saying? If I were to give 100.00 and then all of a sudden "wanted it back" I could give $200.00 and get back my original 100.00? So basically I am "exchanging" my tithe. For instance, say someone gave grain worth a certain amount but then all of a sudden something happened where they needed grain they could exchange twice the value and take the grain back? Had never noticed this before. Was kind of excited to see the end of Leviticus, but come to think of it, Numbers is next :-O
