"So Jehoiachin put away his prison clothes, and for the rest of his life, he ate at teh king's table." v33

This verse really moved me. What attitudes am I fostering that keep me in bondage, clothed in rags of captivity? God wants me to shed them, and come to His banqueting table and feast on His love and goodness, and be a conduit of those good gifts to others. Oh that I would be free of this wretched body of death, that the fetters would fall and I would leap to new heights like hinds feet on high places.

I can't help but take notice every time I go through this book that every word Jeremiah told Zedekiah came about... he watched his sons die and lived out his days blind in prison... I am curious as to the significance of Jehoiachin being given such better treatment in the end?!
