Mmm... LOVED this chapter.

(God says) "I set the time for trial, and I will judge fairly. The earth with all its people may shake but I am the one who holds it steady." v2-3

Love that visual. The trump will sound, the trial will happen, it'll all come down when HE SAYS "NOW".

"He will take all power away from the wicked but the power of good people will grow." v10

This concept of reigning with Christ (the fact that through prayer it exists even now) over his kingdom is just mind boggling to me. So humbling. So amazing. We have been chosen to reign with Christ and what do we do? We spend most of our time sulking or splashing around like impervious princesses, not ruling and reigning with grace and power and strength and beauty.

I think about that alot. Getting serious about my role in this kingdom. Living up to that power and learning to exercise it wisely and efficiently and wonderfully, for his glory.

Praise God!
Appreciate the focus of this chapter! My man and I have been praying for a while now to understand the kingdom. So thankful that the Lord wants us to be part of it! Amazing really, that this GOD who holds the world stable, invites us to be involved in what he is doing!
