"When our hearts make us feel guilty, we can still have peace before God. God is greater than our hearts, and He knows everything." v20

"This is what God commands: that we believe in His son, Jeuss Christ, and that we love each other." v23

Pretty simple. We have a way of making things so complicated. Love Jesus, love others. Loving Jesus and loving others meanst that we will be humble in our relation to them. I start to be uber sensitive towards people who are not humble. I think it is a mark of true wisdom and maturity and I want to learn to exercise more and more humility!

ahhhhh...I've been TOO caught up in life, falling out of the habit of making time for Him - such an easy, crucial part of our day, and yet the first thing to get pushed aside...off I go to take in todays reading.

v1 "How great is the love the father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God. "

Why is it that we so often hear ourselves and others say that we have trouble believing that God loves us so very much. He loves us enough to discipline, enough to give us the beauty of creation, enough to give us relatioships that feed us, enough to send His spirit to live in us, enough to speak encouragement to us, to guide us each day and enough to send his son to die for our sins, How could we ever doubt His love?
