What a chapter. To have the blessing of the Lord like that. This stubborn people who had given Him so much lip and rebellion. Yet He is the faithful father... they are untouchable.

"Even if Balak were to give me a palace filled with silver and gold, I am powerless to do anything against the will of the Lord. I told you that I could say only what the Lord says." verse 13

God wants us to want to do what he wants us to do and not to want money more than doing what is right.

I was struck by that part too, Shailey. A palace filled with gold and silver also sounds like the temptations Satan used against Jesus... all the riches and power, but the Lord's will prevails, and so shall we when we are faithful to him.
