So the chapter starts off and ends off with Uzziah and Jotham, kings of Judah, who more or less follow the Lord, but the whole middle text is about wayward Israel. It made me think how for the most part children follow in the footsteps of their faithers (as his father had done before him....).

That is a responsibility I do not want to take lightly. My kids are watching me. It is not my words that matter, but how I live. How my heart responds to the Lord and how I practice obedience in the every day choices.

We are so instrumental in shaping their conscience which will determine their choices.

All the people in this chapter do wrong and get punished,so this chapter should teach us to do right.
