"Now Israel, what does the Lord your God require from you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the Lord's commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good?" (v12-13)

"Your fathers went down to Egypt seventy persons in all, and now the Lord your God has made you as numerous as the stars of heaven" (v22)
-wow, isn't that incredible? God's promise to Abraham fulfilled right there.

I couldn't help continuing to chapter 11!!The vs 12-13 are a touch long to paste above my doorframe, but I did try to picture it there... what a good reminder to fear God, walk in his ways, love Him, serve Him with heart and soul, observe His commands! Sums it up.

I also love the next part... a declaration of the greatness of our God. I think I'm going to try to read that section over each day this week. Awesome.

v 12-13 reminded me of this passage in Micah:

"He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?" Micah 6:8

Ditto to your comments B-Girl and Chris. I too love the Micah verse. These are great verses to memorize. This is what the Lord expects of us! vs. 12-13
