Mark 5

I shudder to think of one person housing that many demons. And have always been curious why Jesus would send the demons into the herd of pigs - my Bible notes say that it offered a graphic visible lesson to the man who had been possessed, showing him (and, I suppose, others) the immensity of the evil that he'd been delivered from.
Interesting.

I love the woman in this chapter too - so much faith that she felt she didn't need to even talk to Jesus, but to just touch the hem of his garment and that would heal her. What a beautiful example of faith.

This whole chapter is actually kind of timely for me. I was just glancing down at it again and Jesus' words to Jairus "Do not be afraid any longer, only believe" (v36) jumped out at me.
We're at an anxious time right now with Randy and work, and we're just trusting that God will continue to provide for us as He has always done. I'm not really sure what path He will lead us down, and I struggle to have faith at the best of times, so this chapter is an excellent reminder for me.

Trusting with you, and praying for God's best to come through for you and yours.
