I am thankful for our God who gives grace to all who come in repentance and faith.

It seems there may have been a great many loveless marriages in these days.

"If you see a neighbors ox or sheep wandering away, don't pretend you did not see it.Take it back to its owner. If it does not belong to someone nearby or you do not know who it belongs to,keep it until the owner comes looking for it;then return it.Do the same if you find your neighbors donkey, clothing or anything else your neighbor lost.Don't pretend you did not see it.
If you see a neighbors ox or donkey lying on the road,do not look the other way.Go and help your neighbor get it to its feet."v 1-4

You should help people who loose things to find them, you should not be lazy and walk away. How would you like it if your animal was lying in the road and people just walked past pretending you weren't there?Of course things like that wouldn't happen now,but you can always help other people with anything.

wow. ugly stuff. sad people groveling for something and hurting themselves and others in the process. In all our depravity, it just makes the gospel shine out more brilliant.

You should help each other just as Jesus helps you, if you see that your neighbor needs help you should not just walk away, would Jesus just walk away if He saw that you or anybody else needed help? no, you should stop and help them. God loves it when we help others, but He is sad if He sees us just walking away not even looking at whoever needs help. I think I really need to practice to put other people before myself. Whenever you see somebody that needs help just think what would Jesus do, would He stop and help these people or would He walk away and pretend He did not even see them. It should not take long before you figure out that He would stop and help those people. So remember if someone needs help do not just walk away but stop and help them.

I really wondered about all the various laws -- like planting two types of seed, and mixing wool and linen together, etc. In case anyone else was wondering, the notes in the Quest Bible explain some of that: Mixing dissimilar things may have been a practice associated with pagan religions. It's also possible that God intended unblended fabric to symbolize the purity and separation of the Israelites, who were not to blend in with their pagan neighbors. Though this requirement may seem strange today, it illustrates the New Testament principle regarding the undivided loyalty believers should have to God.
