"Our guilt overwhelms us, but You forgive our sins." v3

"You are praised from where the sun rises to where it sets." v8

What an AWESOME visual. I love it.

This whole chapter is just spectacular.

"The rivers of God are full of water... grain grows because you m ake it grow... yu send rain to the plowed fileds; you fill th erows with water. You soften the ground wiht rain, and then you bless it with crops. You give the year a good harvest, and you load the wagons with many crops.... The pastures are full of locks and the valleys are covered with grain. Everything shouts and sings for joy."

What a harvest passage! What a thanksgiving passage!

"When we were overwhelmed by our sins, you forgave our transgressions." I love the beauty of this. We are totally filled with the good things of His house. vs.5-7 are such powerful images of His majesty.

NIV says "You drench its furrows and level its ridges... you crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance... hills are clothed with gladness." I love the differences the versions give...

Oh what a pretty poetic Psalm this was! I enjoyed the metaphors to nature very much. I agree this is so perfect for fall!

NRS Version Says "You water its furrows abundantly, settling its ridges, softening it with showers and blessing its growth. You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with richness. The pastures of the wilderness overflow, the hills gird themselves with joy, the meadows clothe themselves with flocks, the valleys deck themselves with grain, they shout and sing together for joy."

Ah, a beautiful picture and feast for my imagination and heart today:)

Have a gorgeous day ladies!
