"the smell is pleasing to the Lord". v17

we were just reading (in family devotions) about giving our lives as a pleasing sacrifice to the Lord, to make our lives a pleasing aroma, that's something to work toward.

"You will not inherit any of th eland and you will not own any land among the other people. I will be yours. Out of all the Israelites, only you will inherit me." v20

I just loved that.

"the firstborn of every mother whether human or animal that is offered to the Lord will be yours but you must always redeem your firstborn sons and firstborn males of ritually unclean animals. Redeem them when they are one month old." verse 15-16

"however you may not redeem the firstborn of cattle sheep or goats. They are holy and have been set apart form the lord. Sprinking their blood on the altar and burn their fat as an offering given by fire very pleasing to the lord."v 17

This pasage shows how much things we don't need to do,'cause Jesus died for us.Sometimes I don't care about all the offerings they made, but it's important to think about it.
