Revelation 5

I remember years ago when I studied Revelation for almost an entire year and was exposed to all of the amazing symbolism in it and how it just knocked my socks off. The scroll here was one of them. The way it is described, with the writing on both sides, and the multiple seals, it described what the readers of the time would recognize as a Last Will and Testament.

I just get goosebumps when I think of the Father handing over His Last Will and Testament for His creation, and Jesus breaking the seal and unfolding the beginning of the end. There would be a seal, then writing, then another seal, then more writing, and so on and so on. As Revelation unfolds we see that there are seven seals, and seven orders that are issued to bring about the end of the end.

Goosebump inducing stuff for me.

I love, "The four living creatures said, "Amen" and the elders bowed down and worshipped." v14

Through it all, we will worship.

"and they sang a new song with these words, 'you are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were killed and your blood has ransomed people for God. From every tribe and languages and people and nation. And you have caused them to become God's kingdom and his priests and they will reign on the earth." verse 9-10

"the lambe is worthy the lamb who is killed. He is worthy to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing." verse 12

"Blessing and honor and glory and power to the one sitting on the throne and to the lamb forever and ever." v13

I am sure God was glad to here these words,I think that the elders were glad to sing praise to God,or why did they sing at all.I know I would sing,'cause He made us,the world, everything!
