Ezekiel 44

Well, I spent quite a bit of time looking into this chapter last night and this morning. It's a doozie alright. I mean, understanding what is going on in the first part of the chapter, there are SO many prophecies that this is connected with it is mind boggling. Not sure if anyone is really at the point of being ready for millenial studies and discussion or not, it's seriously deep stuff, dealing with the resurrected bodies of believers that enter the millenium but also just normal mortals who were saved out of the tribulation that enter as well. The concepts are so kind of foreign to our normal every day existence that at times it feels like watching a version of the Matrix or something. So basically, there are prophecies about David being crown prince during the millenium (I can find them if anyone is interested) and about Jesus of course, sitting on the throne here, inside the Eastern Gate. There are many prophecies talking about Christ's return, triumphal entry and taking up his sceptre, let me know if you want those too.

So basically, in a nutshell what this chapter appears to be about (of course there are again varying interpretations based on one's endtime views) is the reclaiming of the temple and the rule of the Messiah (with the rule of the "prince" who gets to enter and commune with "the Lord" possibly referring to the millenial crown prince David).

Anyway, I do believe this is all future, and giving us a glimpse into a future temple, a future temple system and a future generation that is tightly tied in to other prophecies of Christ's millenial rule.
